Missing Persons

Keep the person visible. Keep the information clear.

This page will become the central place for active missing-person cases shared by The Lost Sheep Initiative.

Page purpose

Static presentation for review

The cards below establish the intended reading order and information hierarchy. They do not represent real people or active cases.

Before cases are published

Information needs context, not assumptions.

Case information may come from families or authorized representatives, public records, law enforcement when available, or material still being reviewed. The final site must make those distinctions visible.

Public verification language and case intake requirements remain subject to Scoot’s approval.

Case layout preview

Active cases will be easy to scan.

Photographs, names, status, last-seen information, and source context will receive visual priority.

Planned case states

Cases should not simply disappear.

  • Active missing-person case with current case information.
  • Located or resolved status with an appropriate public update.
  • Praise Report when a positive outcome can be shared respectfully.

Final status rules and sensitive-detail handling will be defined during the dynamic-system phase.

Static preview only

The dynamic case system comes next.

No custom post type, ACF fields, filtering, archive query, or live case information has been created in this phase.
